• The Sims 4 was released on September 5, 2014 in the UK, so Dan and Phil played the game 19 days after it's initial release.
• The name "Dil Howlter" was made as a portmanteau of Dan and Phil's first and last names. The initial suggestion was "Phan" and "Howlester/Lestowell/Lestell", but Dan deemed the name too obvious.
