Photo Cards
On July 22, 2024, Phil posted this mysterious video on his Instagram story, where you can observe Dan coming out of a photobooth, wearing Phil's jacket from the recent "Dan and Phil Dress Each Other" video and holding a golden pig in his hand (he also doesn't have any shoes on? for some reason?). Phil also appears to be wearing Dan's clothes from the same video. Many people in the Phandom were left perplexed, as the video raised a multitude of questions. Why are they dressed in each other's outfits? Why did they bring the iconic golden pig with them out in public? Why is Dan only wearing socks? WHAT ARE YOU COOKING, DIP AND PIP?
Well, as it turns outs, Capita£ester was cooking up some MERCH for the upcoming Terrible Influence tour. They are currently selling packs of photo cards, akin to K-Pop idols. Each pack costs 10€ and contains 5 random cards. The VIP package has 100% 1 holographic card. There are 55 cards in total, somewhere out there in the wild. There are regular cards, rares, holographics, shinies, and a golden card — the rarest of all. It is unknown how the rarity of the cards is determined, as not all of them have been found yet and there is no official list or anything of sorts. There is, howerever, a TIT photocard template made by twitter user @softboyhowell! Huge props to her for doing the Lord's work!
Another piece of information I found quite interesting is that in the "Dan and Phil React to Phan Twitter 3" video, they showed us that this is what the photo card packaging supposed to look like.
... Yet it appears that at every single venue they were selling them in blank holographic ziplock bags? I'm not entirely sure what could be the reasoning. As I write this article, the US & Canada tour leg hasn't started yet, so it could be potentially related to some sort of European gambling laws about the pull rates having to be featured on the product. Or perhaps the truth is simpler and they just received the correct packaging a bit too late. I'll update this section as the tour progresses, but this information hasn't been addressed so far.
